Most attack drones carry 20–40 kg warheads. RAIED is built to survive 200 kg detonations. Its novel scientific material shutters absorb sound, shock, pressure, heat, and force. The dome closes within seconds of radar detection, shielding oil refinery labor and assets from the most severe aerial threats.
RAIED operates in Threat Mode and Normal Mode. In Threat Mode, the shutters seal the dome within seconds. After an attack, the majority of damage can be repaired within 24 hours, allowing the refinery to return to Normal Mode with minimal downtime.
